I™€™ve just gotten this AC installed and I already love it! The best function in my opinion is its ability to control it from the Frigidaire app. I love not having to be home in order to operate it because I definitely like my house to be cool when I come home so the fact that I am able to turn it on before I get home helps a bunch!

Air conditioner wifi connection is spotty - support is non existent

I had a lot of issues with my air conditioner and wifi not working. Sure the AC blows cold - but the remote does not work and the wifi connection is very spotty and unreliable. This means you can end up paying double for these features and not getting them. The AC was bought on Amazon and I found out that Frigidaire expects you to return your appliance to the original seller for a replacement to be given to you. So if you are ordering online you may need to pay to ship 70 lbs across the country. Keep that in mind. You pay the shipping and for a box to put it in as they box they come in will not be reusable. Talking to support for Frigidaire for a total of 5-6 hours over the last month - I will never touch another one of their products again nor will I allow anyone I care about to do so. I would get transferred 4-5 times on any call. More than once I start with one number and get transferred 2-3 times being given a new number each time only to end up on the original number I called or one I had been given before. Nobody knows where you should go and a lot of the time you go through a lot of the process before they realize you™€™re in the wrong place. The goal seems to be to get you to give up. Note - I wanted the name ™€œnomorefrigidaire™€ but it was taken. So I kept incrementing from 2 up to 4 - that tells you something.

I have had this air conditioner for a few years and every year I have to call customer service to get it to work. When I get someone, it is a person in the Phillipines who can barely speak proper English. They have no clue how to help you. They obviously know nothing about the product. My air conditioner is set to go on and off with an app on my phone. I hate technology that does not work. It makes nothing faster or easier. We never had these problems 30 years ago. My air conditioner beeps every 25 seconds. I have done everything to try to fix the issue. I will never buy or recommend a frigidaire product. I will know have to go out and get a product that works and throw this piece of crap out. It is so bad I would not even donate it. I am here at 12:14 am writing something that probably will never be seen by the company or the public. I doubt they will even contact me to remedy the issue. Do NOT BUY frigidaire products. They are dysfunctional and if you can get a person to assist you, you will be on the phone with them for 2 hours to get nothing accomplished. Don't waste your money. Buy another brand.

Bought this off of Amazon, seemed brand new but the bar that you're supposed to screw on top was already mounted. So idk about that. It also makes a high pitch squeaky noise constantly but it does cool the room. It's the first day though and right now it's at 66 degrees even though I have it set to 65 and it's 3:30am. I guess I'll find out this afternoon if it holds up. I'm in Texas and it gets pretty hot outside. I have another ac unit, different brand in my bedroom that stays around 72 during the day so hopefully this one doesn't go up too much. Other than the noise, I'm satisfied with it so far.

I am very pleased with this air conditioner, so far the performance is excellent! Installation was easy, It comes with a kit for you to mount in the window. It comes with a very nice remote control, but I especially like the ability to control it from my phone via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi using the Frigidaire App. I can set up schedules, adjust the temp, turn it off or on, and some other features.
